The APS 8 D offers maximum performance in a closed housing with an ultra-compact volume of 7.5 l. up to 8.5 lt.

It has push connectors for easy cabling and configuration, and was designed with the primary goal of delivering high performance in the tightest of spaces. The issue is a matter of excursion; The more air the cone moves, the more power. However, the reduced installation depth usually results in a small deflection. Prima subwoofers feature a special cone-and-dust-basket geometry, which guarantees a large deflection of the mobile group while at the same time minimizing the installation depth. The mount and spider were carefully designed to prevent the "swing mode" phenomenon. The cooling circuit has been designed with vents on the basket below the spider, eliminating the need for vents on the bottom plate. This allows the subwoofer to be mounted close to the back wall of the enclosure, making the most of the reduced installation depth.
