This unique sound system upgrade includes a powerful digital sound processor (DSP), a 4-channel amplifier for the front and rear speaker system, and an ultra-flat active subwoofer. Due to its very small size, the PWD-X5 can be installed almost anywhere in the vehicle with no problem. This ensures optimal and pleasant bass reproduction. High-quality high-level inputs are available for connecting original car radios. Special cinch inputs are provided for classic car radios or infotainment systems. The system is controlled with the practical smartphone app or via a cable remote control.
The Alpine smartphone app for the PWD-X5 can be downloaded free of charge from Google Play and the Apple Store. With this app you can adjust the volume and subwoofer levels, select sound presets, change audio input sources, adjust the 10-band parametric EQ, crossover, fader/balance and much more. This software is also available for PC.
This solution is ideal for all customers who are looking for a significant improvement in the sound quality in their vehicle and want to make minimal installation work. The PWD-X5 is supplied with a complete cable set, including high-quality power cables (4.5 meters) with main fuse.

The PWD-X5 has a digital sound processor (DSP), a compact subwoofer and a 4-channel amplifier - all in one housing. This very practical and ideal solution is particularly suitable for customers who are looking for minimal installation work and an excellent price/performance ratio. The integrated amplifier delivers 4 x 50 watts for the speaker channels and 240 watts for the subwoofer (peak power). The mounting brackets and a connection set are included.

Compact installation

The very compact dimensions of only 35 cm long x 24.5 cm wide x 8 cm high allow the PWD-X5 to be installed under the front seats of many vehicles. It can also be installed in the trunk of hatchback or coupe vehicles. The total weight of the product is just over 5 kg.
