QUANTUM QE subwoofers impress with their very compact design. Almost petite, the QE622 subwoofer comes over, but with its aluminum die-cast basket, the double magnet with 2 x 40 oz and the sewn bead he signals: "Careful, it can be very loud!" The two larger subs have a hefty 2 x 63 oz double magnets and, just like the QE622, a pole core hole and a vented T-plate for optimal cooling. The QE622 features a large 2 "(50mm) voice coil with a RMS rating of 250 watts, and the QE822 and the all-new QE1022 even includes a 2.5" (64mm) voice coil rated at 400 and 600 watts RMS Commitment. Extremely long wound voice coils with a winding height of 30 or 36 mm allow the woofers a linear stroke of +/- 10 mm. All three models have a dual voice coil, each with 2 + 2 ohms. It can be used to configure impedances of 1 x 4 ohms or even 1 x 1 ohms. Without any problems, several subwoofers can be operated in succession on one amplifier.
