Audison APBX 10 AS2 - Gehäusesubwoofer

The active subwoofer Prima APBX 10 AS with 10-inch driver has a dedicated high-performance amplifier module that extends all passive box technologies, such as the 2S² (2 sides / 2 sounds) design and the plug & play connection block  -in an ultra compact size.

The amplifier module with an output power of 400 W RMS was developed with He-Li technology (high efficiency / low impedance), which, thanks to the absence of the DC-DC voltage amplifier, comes very close to the impressive efficiency of 90%  Limit of the D-class.
The elimination of the voltage amplifier has been made possible thanks to the development of the new dual coil drivers, which inherit the entire technological background of the Prima subwoofers, but differ in their extremely low impedance (0.16 ohms for APBX 10 AS).
This feature creates perfect synergy with He-Li (High Efficiency Low Impedance) technology and maximizes the amplifier, speaker and sealed box combination to get low, powerful and crisp frequencies.

The control area is complete and provides optimal control of the low frequency emissions in the cabin.  The Butterworth low pass filter at 12 dB / oct.  variable cut-off frequency (50-200 Hz) can be bypassed when used with an AP bit processor with pre-out assigned to the subwoofer.  With the adjustable bass boost control (0 ÷ 6 dB) at 45 Hz, the user can emphasize the reproduction on the lower side of the spectrum.

The high-level input for the speakers on a multi-pin connector simplifies integration with OEM audio systems, while the low-level input for RCA is intended for connection to after-market sources.  The automatic on / off function of the ART (Automatic Remote Turn-On) subwoofer can be configured in such a way that it is controlled via the remote control signal from the source, the voltage change at the high-level input or the audio signal at both inputs.  The phase control (0 - 180 °) completes the device.

The SSP connection (Sub Smart Plug) has a single plug & play connection so that the box can be disconnected easily and safely.
