Measuring just 185 x 365 x 265 mm, the compact active subwoofer ATB120QBA fits in almost any trunk or between the seats of a larger driver's cabin, such as in a VW Bulli, or under the passenger seat of a Fiat Ducato and Mercedes Sprinter.
A powerful 20 cm / 8" woofer works in the stable housing construction: with a rigid glass fiber/paper sandwich membrane, butyl rubber surround and large 1.5" / 38 mm voice coil.
The 100 W RMS amplifier module is located on the side of the subwoofer in a user-friendly manner. This means that all settings such as low-pass filter, phase position, gain and bass boost can be easily made. The high-level inputs with auto-turn-on function are helpful for connecting to factory radios (without REM output). The bass level remote control allows you to conveniently adjust the level from the driver's seat.
The smart selection of components and the precise reflex channel tuning are the basis for the level stability and dynamics of this active enclosure subwoofer and the high linear Xmax value of ñ 4 mm. The AXTON bass box underpins every piece of music with rich, melodious bass that can really hit hard when needed.
The bass reflex enclosure is made of sturdy MDF and covered with robust fleece. The woofer is mounted according to the downfire principle, i.e. with the loudspeaker pointing downwards, so that optimal radiation and even distribution of the bass waves is possible. To minimize disruptive air turbulence, the port is flow-optimized.
