HiFonics ZEUS ZXT (EXTREME)

EXTREME hits the proverbial “nail on the head” here. In addition to the recently presented Extreme amplifiers with outputs of up to 13,000 watts RMS, the matching EXTREME woofers are now being added to the range.
Available in 10, 12, 15 and even 18 inches, all the important sizes are available to get brutal pressure into the car .
The newly developed REINFORCED STRUCTURE ARRAY SURROUND (RSA surround for short), which is a distinctive feature of the woofer, is immediately striking.
It brings the necessary stability, which is necessary at extreme levels. Apart from that, it just looks really cool and gives the series a modern design.
By the way - the HiFonics Extreme logo is even embossed very small on the surround, which also serves as "copy protection".
From the 12" model upwards, all models have powerful 100 mm voice coils, which are equipped with 58 mm are also wound extremely long, resulting in a large stroke and high resilience.
(Note: With a 10" a 100 mm coil makes little sense, so there is a 76 mm coil in it).

The "Reinforced Structure Array" surrounds newly developed for the ZXT woofer and reinforced with vertical elements also give an idea of how much stroke the carbon-reinforced membranes.
These remain rock solid and are even comparatively light thanks to the 3-layer sandwich construction.
So that the membranes can also optimally exploit the hub, they are supported by 3-layer Nomex Spiders like on Guided on rails.
This ensures that the membranes do not tilt, even with extreme performance.
The Zeus subwoofers are also well equipped thermally: the 10-inch woofer is already 76 mm in size, from the 12th Inch model even gigantic 100 mm voice coils.
With an unbelievable 58 mm winding height, the cones can achieve a linear deflection of +/- 23 mm. The voice coil is made of special pi-CCAR flat wire, which is aluminum flat wire with copper coating, which saves weight and is also heat-resistant up to 240 degrees.
All in all, ingredients that impressively demonstrate the exceptional quality of the woofers.
If you are looking for the ultimate level woofers, you cannot avoid the ZEUS EXTREME series.
