The ATS-BSUB4 underseat bass is a perfect addition to the BMW-compatible AXTON speaker systems to retrofit an underseat subwoofer in the BMW or to replace a factory system.
The powerful subwoofer pair is suitable for installation under the seats, fits perfectly into the original installation locations and can be easily connected to the original plugs thanks to the plug & play connection terminal.
The 20 cm woofer of the ATS-BSUB4 is equipped with an amplified version of the new AXTON CRYSTAX membrane.
It consists of a very harmonious sounding, highly dampening paper membrane with a coating of extremely hard quartz crystals.
These crystals, with their extremely high step response, ensure the desired precision of the sound.
The entire vibration unit - membrane with rubber surround, Nomex centering spider and 2" voice coil (4 Ohm) - is held securely in the newly constructed composite basket in the distinctive AXTON design.
The basket, together with the metal carrier, offers excellent stability and almost unhindered sound radiation.
The powerful neodymium magnet provides the necessary power and a defined, impressively strong bass with plenty of depth.

Three Compos and Coax systems for each of the different vehicle models, as well as two variants of under-seat basses with 2 ohm or 4 ohm voice coils.

The subwoofer

We use a new technology as the membrane, a special material mix consisting of a stiffened paper membrane with a coating of extremely hard quartz crystals.

We call this special membrane CRYSTAX.
The entire vibration unit, i.e. the membrane with rubber surround, the Nomex centering spider and the 2 inch voice coil, are held securely in the newly constructed composite basket in the distinctive Axton design.
This new basket, together with the metal support, offers excellent stability despite the delicate struts, which in turn give the sound enough space to develop and reduce reflections.
