Sound gourmets know - the music system in new Mercedes vehicles often sounds rather modest, and you wish you had an upgrade.
The VISION VXM speakers were developed for exactly this case.
Conventional standard speakers do not fit in Mercedes vehicles.
In the models mentioned, different 20 cm woofers with special installation dimensions are even required for the driver and passenger sides.
To save weight, ESX manufactures the subwoofers in a lightweight ABS construction, with robust metal grilles at the front for protection. Like all VXM speakers, they also have efficient and powerful neodymium magnets.
Since very linear reproduction is particularly important in the mid-range, very light glass fiber membranes are used in the 10 cm VXM models.
For front doors, the 2-way component VXM4.2C, equipped with separate tweeters, is recommended, and for the rear, the coaxial set VXM42.
Both have light silk domes for the best high-frequency reproduction.
The VXM40F center speaker can be connected to the Mercedes SOS system thanks to the second voice coil.
Care was always taken to ensure that the installation of the components is easy.
This means that no cables need to be cut or any metal parts removed.
