The UP 7DSP is the most powerful MATCH DSP power amplifier and features our new ADEP.3 switching circuit. With a total of 7 amplifier channels and additional preamp output, the integrated 8-channel DSP can also be used to control individual speaker configurations perfectly. Two power amp channels, each delivering 160W of sinewave power to 2 ohms, provide more than enough power to power up even large subwoofers.
But sheer power is only half the battle without "intelligent control" - that's why an extremely fast 64-bit DSP of the last generation together with new, revolutionary DSP features such as the "Augmented Bass Processing", the "StageXpander" and the "RealCenter" Function for breathtaking music enjoyment.
That's not enough. Just enjoy the music in the best sound quality from a smartphone. For example, the UP 7DSP offers a MATCH Extension Card slot (MEC slot) for further input and output modules such as a Bluetooth® audio streaming module or a high resolution audio USB sound card.
Thanks to the professional yet user-friendly DSP PC-Tool software V4, the configuration of the UP 7DSP is almost playful and intuitive.
7-channel Class HD upgrade amplifier with built-in 8-channel 64-bit DSP for universal applications
MATCH Extension Card Slot (MEC) for further input / output modules like Bluetooth® Audio Streaming, High Resolution Audio Streaming via USB etc.
Intelligent high-level input with ADEP.3 (Advanced Diagnostics Error Protection) circuitry and auto power on
Unique DSP features such as "Augmented Bass Processing" for dynamic optimization of the bass reproduction of the subwoofer, the "StageXpander" for broadening the stereo perspective, the "RealCenter" function, which gives the driver and front seat passengers an equally perfectly focused stage image and much more
Easy configuration via intuitive DSP PC-Tool software
Starting plugability down to 6 volts supply voltage
Optical SPDIF input with a sampling rate between 12 and 96 kHz
Mono cinch output for connection of further amplifiers e.g. a subwoofer amplifier
Compact dimensions and minimal heat generation thanks to maximum efficiency
Special features:
Class HD technology
The UP 7DSP combines the advantages of Class H technology with the principle of a Class D amplifier. The result is unsurpassed efficiency that exceeds traditional Class D amplifiers. The benefits of the Class HD concept in small and medium modulation, because the power supply regulates the internal supply voltage of the power levels depending on the amplitude of the input signal. This will be the middle one produced by the amplifier
Power dissipation drastically reduced.
Intelligent high level input ADEP.3
Modern, factory-installed car radios are becoming increasingly intelligent with respect to the diagnosis of the connected speakers. Especially the latest generation is equipped with additional monitoring functions so that error messages or even malfunctions can occur when connecting an additional amplifier. The new ADEP3 (Advanced Diagnostics Error Protection Generation 3) circuit prevents these problems without adding unnecessary noise to the speaker outputs of the radio at high levels.
Start-stop capability
The power supply in the UP 7DSP amplifier ensures the internal power supply even with short-term drops down to 6 volts. This ensures that the amplifier remains fully functional even when the engine is started. If the on-board voltage drops below 10.5 volts for more than 5 seconds, the amplifier goes into "Protect Mode" (status LED is solid red) to prevent further battery discharge.
Automatic Digital Signal Detection
Switching between the analog and the digital input is signal-controlled. As soon as an audio signal is detected at the optical input, the amplifier switches over to this input. In the DSP PC-Tool software, this function can be deactivated or, alternatively, a manual control can be selected via an optionally available remote control.
Power save mode
The power save mode allows to drastically reduce the power consumption of the UP 7DSP (and possibly additionally connected amplifiers) if no input signal is present for more than 60 seconds. As soon as the "Power Save Mode" is active, the internal amplifier stages of the UP 7DSP and the remote output are switched off, significantly reducing the power consumption. The amplifier returns to normal operating condition within 2 seconds as soon as a music signal is present at its input. The shutdown delay can be varied or completely deactivated via the DSP PC-Tool software.
Real Center
The "RealCenter" feature is a proprietary algorithm from Audiotec Fischer that emphasizes the monaural information of the left and right front channels to create a unique center signal. In contrast to conventional methods, in which only the channels are summed up, here comes an additional dynamic control of the center signal by the stereophonic information content of the left and right channel. This means that the center channel will not play a signal if only the left channel or only the right channel provides an audio signal. In usual algorithms, the center channel would only be 6 dB quieter in this case. Audiotec Fischer's "RealCenter" thus enables a unique, wide-ranging stage image - and this is optimal for the driver and passenger alike! The disadvantages of a conventional center channel, such as an intrusive, narrow spatial sound representation are finally a thing of the past.
Augmented bass processing
Audiotec Fischer's proprietary "Augmented Bass Processing", consisting of the two revolutionary sound features: "Dynamic Bass Enhancement" and "SubXpander". These are specifically designed to dramatically improve the bass response of subwoofers.
"Dynamic Bass Enhancement" ingeniously combines maximum low bass foundation and high maximum sound pressure - regardless of the style of music heard or the sound settings on the radio. Depending on the input signal, "Dynamic Bass Enhancement" enhances the lower frequency range and varies the cutoff frequency of the Subsonic filter. The result is a much more powerful, deeper bass response at low and medium volumes without running the risk of mechanically or electrically overloading the subwoofer at high volumes. It's simply fascinating which bass performance is suddenly possible.
If you want to have the low-frequency range a bit deeper and "blacker", you can additionally activate the "SubXpander". Subharmonic tones are added to the basic tones in the frequency range between 50 and 100 Hz.
StageXpander
Depending on the arrangement of the speakers in the vehicle, a more or less wide stereo stage can be realized on the front seats. If a center speaker is additionally installed, it sometimes limits the spatial reproduction of the music additionally. This is where Audiotec Fischer's new "StageXpander" beats - a sound feature that seems to break the acoustic limits, allowing for a much broader stereo base without negatively impacting the precision of locating voices or instruments. The effect can be adjusted in four stages to your personal taste.
ClarityXpander
More transparency and substance in the high-frequency reproduction complacent? Audiotec Fischer now offers just the right tool with the "ClarityXpander".
Properly dosed (and therefore selectable in three levels) gives the overtones additional radiance - particularly useful if the original speakers miss the necessary shine in the high-frequency range. There is the extra Hochtonkick not only for the two front channels, but also separately adjustable for the center channel. And because just in the latter a tad too much in conjunction with overtone-rich music material fatigues your hearing, even an automatic, dynamic control of the additional overtone component can be activated here.
