The PDP-E802DSP is the second generation of the 8-channel digital DSP amplifier from Alpine. This unique all-in-one solution can be used in a wide variety of ways and, with its connection options, offers sound upgrades for almost any vehicle. A wide range of systems with a high level of flexibility can be implemented using 6 input channels (preamplifier and speakers) and up to 8 freely configurable output channels. Optimize your sound with a professional parametric 240-band EQ, 8-channel digital time correction and 8-channel digital crossover. A WiFi or USB connection can be established to the PDP-E802DSP for easy system setup using Alpine PC software. The very intuitive and easy-to-use software allows full control over all setting options and displays the information on a very clear graphical user interface.
With the free "Alpine Remote Control App" for the PDP-E802DSP (available for Android and iPhone) you can control the most important functions such as master volume, subwoofer level, source selection, preset settings and much more.

This versatile DSP amplifier features sensible further developments for easy installation and better sound quality.
The newly developed input circuit for noise suppression as well as a newly developed pre-out for an additional subwoofer amplifier now ensure better sound reproduction and more flexibility during installation.
Other improvements include better WLAN stability, refined setting behavior on the RUX-KNOB2, as well as an automatic adjustment of the power supply depending on the load and volume. The new automatic impedance measurement protects your device from electrical damage in the event of incorrect connection or overload.

The PDP-E802DSP is the perfect solution for sound improvement, especially for vehicles where the factory radio cannot be replaced. The Alpine DSP amplifier simply connects to the existing car radio and allows you to set up any sound system in your vehicle.   

Configure your own sound system

You can freely configure the 8 output channels according to your needs. Each channel delivers 100 watts at 4 ohms (maximum 700 watts total output) and can be configured to be used as a tweeter, midrange, center or woofer channel. You can also use two channels in parallel for a powerful 200 watt subwoofer. The PDP-E802DSP has digital crossovers, so you don't have to worry about installing passive crossovers throughout the vehicle. With a frequency range of 20 Hz to 22 kHz on all channels, you can create virtually any system.

Extensive sound tuning options

With the Alpine DSP amplifier, you immediately get a professional sound studio: With a parametric 240-band equalizer (30 bands per channel), you can adjust the sound in great detail. You also get an 8-channel digital time correction and an 8-channel digital crossover for the perfect channel setting. With the freely selectable routing, you can, for example, combine several channels to create a center channel.  

True Class-D technology

The Alpine DSP amplifier uses Class-D amplification technology: This means that once an analog input signal is converted to a digital signal, it remains completely digital throughout the entire processing and amplification phase. With Class-D technology, an amplifier can achieve much higher efficiency - this means low heat generation and smaller heat sinks. This results in a very small, compact housing that can be easily placed in the vehicle (205mm x 150mm x 50mm).  

Wireless system control

Download the "Alpine Remote Control App" for your iPhone or Android smartphone to control all important functions on the go. This allows you to control the most important functions such as master volume, subwoofer level, source selection, preset settings and much more via smartphone. There is even a day and night mode available. The app can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.  

Start-Stop compatible

The PDP-E802DSP remains fully operational even when your car is in start-stop mode. That means no unintended interruptions when you're at an intersection or in a stop-and-go situation.  

Bass Knob available

With the optional Alpine RUX-KNOB2 you can adjust the subwoofer level or the master volume of your PDP-E802DSP.  

Wireless audio playback

If you have a If you use an Android phone, you can transfer and play full-bandwidth, lossless audio files using the Alpine PDP-E802DSP's micro-USB connection. You can also connect your phone to the DSP amplifier via Wi-Fi (the wireless module is included with the PDP-E802DSP). We recommend the "USB Audio Player Pro App" for Android for this application.
