MATCH UP 8DSP
The powerhouse for simple OEM integrations
The new UP 8DSP is a true all-rounder that not only delivers unbridled power and dynamics for real hi-fi sound, but also all the requirements for easy integration into the vehicle on board.
Seamless connection
With its six high-level inputs, an optical digital input, the MATCH extension card slot and many intelligent technologies, such as the proprietary ADEP.3 Circuit, the UP 8DSP is optimally equipped for seamless adaptation to existing multi-channel sound systems.
Furthermore, individual speaker configurations can be realized with a total of eight amplifier channels, as well as the additional preamplifier output, thanks to the powerful 9-channel DSP. Two power amplifier channels each deliver powerful power with 160 W sine power at 2 ohms to help even large subwoofers get going.
Virtual Channel Processing - this is how signal routing works today
Optimal adaptation to existing multi-channel sound systems makes sensible management and configuration of the many DSP channels in the amplifier essential - so there was no question that the UP 8DSP was also equipped with Audiotec Fischer's innovative Virtual Channel Processing.
Special If the front, rear and center systems are broken down into different active multi-way systems, traditional routing concepts quickly reach their limits in terms of implementation and usability. The multi-stage "Virtual Channel Processing", in conjunction with the recognized user-friendly DSP PC tool software, makes it possible to easily map even highly complex system configurations and to freely assign our proprietary FX sound features.
In addition, the UP 8DSP is thanks to its lush Number of channels, in conjunction with the optional MEC ANALOG IN module, also an ideal candidate for applications where 1 to 1 routing (IOR) is required.
ACO – Advanced 32 Bit CoProcessor Platform< /h4>
The UP 8DSP is of course equipped with the proprietary 32-bit ACO platform - this not only takes over all control tasks extremely quickly, but above all offers a whole bundle of audio functions: Fantastic sound effects such as Augmented Bass Processing or RealCenter are also implemented such as a channel-separated input EQ including an input signal analyzer (ISA) for easy analysis and compensation of the input signals from OE radios that already include a sound setup ex works.
Compact format
Despite a large range of functions and a concentrated output of 6 x 65 at 4 ohms plus 2 x 90 / 160 watts at 4 / 2 ohms, the UP 8DSP MATCH comes in an extremely compact design, so that it can be easily installed even in tight spaces is.
DSP PC-Tool 5 feat. TuneEQ - Powerful features for ultimate sound experiences
Of course, the MATCH UP 8DSP can be configured using our new, professional and at the same time exceptionally intuitive DSP PC Tool 5. The familiar, numerous setting options leave nothing to be desired and guarantee extremely precise sound adjustment, even with complex system configurations. Special features:
Class GD technology
Audiotec Fischer's unique Class GD concept combines the advantages of Class G technology with the principle of a Class D amplifier.
This results in an unusually high level of efficiency, which even exceeds conventional Class D amplifiers. The Class GD concept shows its advantages at low and medium levels by gradually varying the internal supply voltage of the power stages depending on the amplitude of the input signal. This drastically reduces the average power loss generated by the amplifier.
ACO – Advanced 32 Bit CoProcessor
The MATCH UP 8DSP amplifier uses a particularly powerful 32-bit CoProcessor of the latest generation. This not only takes over all control tasks ultra-fast, but also lightning-fast switching between up to ten possible sound setups.
But ACO offers much more - in addition to a channel-separated input EQ including an input signal analyzer (ISA) for easy analysis and compensation the input signals from OE radios and fantastic sound effects such as Augmented Bass Processing or RealCenter, there is now the revolutionary TuneEQ function for automatically setting the output equalizers.
Another significant advantage is the CoProcessor's integrated, native bootloader. This enables software upgrades of all components of the DSP, for example in order to be able to adapt the microcontroller-controlled ADEP.3 circuit to future changes in diagnostic systems of factory radios or to expand the device with additional interfaces.
Intelligent high level -Input ADEP.3
Modern, factory-installed car radios are becoming increasingly intelligent when it comes to diagnosing the connected speakers. The latest generation in particular is equipped with additional monitoring functions, so that error messages or even malfunctions can occur when an additional amplifier is connected. The new ADEP.3 circuit (Advanced Diagnostics Error Protection Generation 3) prevents these problems without unnecessarily loading the radio's speaker outputs at high levels.
Start-stop capability
The power supply in UP 8DSP amplifier ensures the internal power supply even in the event of short-term drops down to 6 volts. This ensures that the amplifier remains fully functional even when the engine is started. If the on-board voltage falls below 10.5 volts for longer than 5 seconds, the amplifier goes into “Protect Mode” (status LED lights up red permanently) to prevent further battery discharge.
Automatic Digital Signal Detection
The UP 8DSP allows signal-controlled switching between the analog and digital inputs. As soon as an audio signal is detected at the optical input, the amplifier switches to this input. This function can be activated in the DSP PC tool software or alternatively manual control can be selected using an optionally available remote control.
Power Save Mode
The Power Save mode allows the power consumption to be reduced of the UP 8DSP (and any additionally connected amplifier) if there is no input signal for longer than 60 seconds. As soon as the “Power Save Mode” is active, the internal amplifier stages of the UP 8DSP and the remote output are switched off, thus significantly reducing the power consumption. The amplifier returns to normal operating mode within 2 seconds as soon as a music signal is present at its input. The switch-off delay can be varied or completely deactivated using the DSP PC tool software.

DSP Features
TuneEQ
TuneEQ is an extremely flexible and particularly easy-to-use function for automated frequency response correction. A single measurement per respective audio channel or channel pair with a suitable measurement microphone (such as our MTK1) is enough for TuneEQ to independently and precisely adapt the equalizer to the desired reference curve. TuneEQ uses the full range of functions of the parametric equalizer, including the center frequency, the Q factor and the gain. And because the highly complex calculation operations required for this take place in the background, you also save a lot of time when tuning sound with TuneEQ.
RealCenter
The “RealCenter” function is a proprietary one Audiotec Fischer algorithm that highlights the monaural information of the left and right front channels to create a unique center signal. In contrast to usual methods in which the channels are simply summed up, here there is also dynamic control of the center signal through the stereophonic information content of the left and right channels. This means that the center channel does not reproduce a signal if only the left or only the right channel delivers an audio signal. With usual algorithms, the center channel would only be 6 dB quieter in this case. Audiotec Fischer's “RealCenter” enables a unique, wide-ranging stage image - and that's equally optimal for the driver and front passenger! The disadvantages of a conventional center channel, such as an intrusive, narrow spatial sound representation, are finally a thing of the past.
Augmented Bass Processing
Audiotec Fischer's proprietary “Augmented Bass Processing”, consisting of the two revolutionary sound features: “Dynamic Bass Enhancement” and “SubXpander”. These have been specially developed to dramatically improve the bass reproduction of subwoofers.
"Dynamic Bass Enhancement" ingeniously combines maximum deep bass foundation and high maximum sound pressure - regardless of the type of music you are listening to or the sound settings on the radio. Depending on the input signal, “Dynamic Bass Enhancement” amplifies the lower frequency range on the one hand and varies the cutoff frequency of the subsonic filter on the other. The result is a much more powerful, deeper bass reproduction at low and medium volumes without the risk of mechanically or electrically overloading the subwoofer at high volumes. It's simply fascinating what bass performance is suddenly possible.
If you want the low frequency range to be a little deeper and "blacker", you can also activate the "SubXpander". Here, additional subharmonic tones are mixed into the basic tones in the frequency range between 50 and 100 Hz.
