This generation of Alpine S-Series amplifiers was developed to take your in-vehicle music experience to the next level without breaking the bank. With a sleek new design and improved features over their predecessors, these amplifiers offer exceptional performance and power at an unmatched price.
The S-Series 5-channel amplifier delivers 60 watts RMS of pristine high-fidelity power at 2 ohms to each of your vehicle's front and rear speakers, while also driving up to 300 watts RMS to a subwoofer. Bringing your music to life, the amplifier is Hi-Res Audio certified, with precise detail and emotional power coming through clearly with a frequency response of up to 40 kHz. The extra bass power of the sub channel brings your music to life, with all the precise details, fat beats and emotional power coming through clearly. In a 3-channel 2-way system, this amplifier provides 120 watts RMS for a pair of front high-performance speakers and 300 watts RMS for a subwoofer.
A variable bass boost on the sub channel allows you to give your system's low frequencies an extra boost. With the optional wired remote RUX-KNOB2 you can even control the rear channel level for the subwoofer from the front seat.
With the integrated high- and low-pass filters you have control over the frequency spectrum for your speakers and subwoofer. The amplifier has preamplifier and speaker inputs so you can install it in almost any vehicle. It is even possible to use this amplifier in a vehicle with a factory radio . When using the speaker inputs, the amplifier can detect the incoming signal and switch itself on, so that no separate switch-on cable has to be laid to the radio.
The S-Series amplifiers are available in two mono, one 4-channel and one 5-channel version.

The current generation Alpine S-Series S2-A55V 5-channel amplifier is Hi-Res Audio certified and capable of reproducing a frequency response of up to 40 kHz. This ultra-wide bandwidth combined with the upscale design of the S-Series sets new standards for performance and price in the entry-level segment.
For flexible applications
The S-Series amplifiers now feature a new selectable remote circuit. This allows the sensitivity of the remote control to be adjusted in three stages using a switch. This ensures that the amplifier always turns on and off at the right time. This design is critical for newer vehicle technologies and allows for proper integration into any factory or aftermarket system.
Good usability
The amplifier has been designed with the controls on the sides for easy access to the gain and frequency settings when installed under the vehicle seats or at a low depth. Removable end caps conceal the side controls and connectors and give the amplifier a clean, sleek design.
